Get your running shoes and four cans of your favorite beer ready: The National Beer Mile has announced another seven participating cities for its 2016 schedule. The newly added locales include Sacramento CA, Buffalo NY, San Antonio TX, Denver CO, The Bay Area CA, Las Vegas NV, and Tampa FL With these seven cities added, the tour is now up to 22 locations and growing.
The National Beer Mile is a one-mile run and drinking event that brings together beer enthusiasts, fitness buffs, and others for some physical exertion and partying. It kicks off with a one mile run with a full beer consumed after each quarter- mile. Once the laps are completed and the beer is consumed, the National Beer Mile keeps the fun times going with a party featuring live music, food, and games.
The first National Beer Mile for 2016 will take place at Unity Plaza in Jacksonville, FL on March 5th. Interested parties can learn more about the official Beer Mile rules and purchase tickets by visiting nationalbeermile.com. The price this year is $35 for early bird general admission and $55 for early bird VIP. Once the early bird discount expires, the price will increase to $40 and $60 respectively.
