Since the revolutionary legalization of cannabis in several states across the US, companies have been tirelessly working to create innovative infused product lines that can bring ample benefits to the user. The rise of CBD in the cannabis domain has been a turning point, especially for the food and beverages industry, opening up new avenues to create enticing recipes brimming with the goodness of cannabinoids. Cannabis edibles and beverages are rapidly capturing markets worldwide.
One such segment that has received a ton of interest is cannabis-infused alcoholic beverages. From the charming glass of burgundy wine to a refreshing brew of beer, cannabis is finding its way into various drinks to embed taste, aroma, and more.
What Is Cannabis Beer?
Cannabis beer or weed beer is among the most popular infused alcoholic beverages. Popular breweries are crafting brilliant weed beer recipes to suit your palate using one of the two major cannabinoids.
THC infused beers are typically non-alcoholic to allow the user to enjoy the buzz from the cannabinoid. They have a stimulating effect on your senses. On the other hand, some companies are also experimenting with simple CBD infusion to avoid any psychoactive effects. This drink is ideal for inducing a relaxing and calming effect on the user.
While these beers have a unique taste and feel, they also make amazing ingredients for your cocktail experiments to give an original twist to your drink menu. Here we present three cannabis beer cocktail recipes you can try and enjoy at home.

3. Mulled Cannabis Ale
A mulled wine is a festive drink brimming with your favorite spices’ extravagant flavors that kindle the holiday spirit. Inspired by this delicious drink, we created a mulled ale recipe specially prepared with cannabis beer to add a touch of relaxation to this festive season. The ale adds a refreshing new twist to this incredible drink.

What You Need:
- 1 cup apple cider
- 4 cloves
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 star anise
- 3 shots of brandy or cognac
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar and honey
- 2 bottles of CBD beer (Preferably White Ale)
- A touch of nutmeg
- Orange slices
- Orange zest
How To Prepare:
- Add the beer and the apple cider into a saucepan, and place it on the stovetop on medium heat.
- Make sure to keep in simmer to ensure the mixture does not boil.
- Add brown sugar to the cider and mix thoroughly till the sugar completely dissolves.
- Continue stirring the mixture to remove lumps.
- Add cloves, star anise, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brandy and stir.
- Add orange zest to the mixture, and leave it to simmer for at least an hour. Tip: Cooking longer will evaporate the alcohol and intensify the flavors of the spices added to the mixture. Therefore taste the ale every 15 minutes to remove it from heat when the flavors best suit your taste.
- Strain the mulled ale into two mugs and discard the spices.
- Garnish the drink with orange slices and a touch of cinnamon to serve.
