California’s Alpine Beer Company is off to a fast start in 2017, with three new year- round beers added to the lineup and four limited releases planned for introduction during the current year, available exclusively in the Alpine Tasting Room.
On the year round front, Alpine Beer is proud to announce the release of Willy Wheat Ale, Truck Trail Ale, and Windows Up IPA. The latter has already been shipped to distributors and can be found right now, where Alpine beer is presently sold. The others will be released to select markets in early summer and mark the first time Alpine has released beer in cans. Head brewer Shawn McIlhenney is especially anxious to get the new IPA into the hands of consumers.
“In addition to offering Alpine beer in cans for the first time, I am especially excited for our newest IPA addition, Windows Up, to hit the market,” says McIlhenney.“ It’s got big hop aromatics and a really bold flavor profile with very little bitterness; this beer is a home run.”
Taking a look at the full year- round Alpine Beer lineup reveals a product line that is increasingly diverse and certainly well- crafted. There are the three new releases described above plus Duet IPA, Willy Vanilly American Wheat Ale with Vanilla, Mandarin Nectar Orange Blossom Honey Ale with Orange Zest, and Coriander, Hoppy Birthday Pale Ale. Pure Hoppiness, Alpine’s Double IPA, will be released for a limited time in November, 2017and the ever- popular Nelson IPA will be available only on draft with special releases throughout the year.
Alpine’s Tasting Room, located at 2363 Alpine Blvd. in Alpine, California, just east of San Diego, is the place to be in 2017. In addition to the regular lineup of beers, McIlhenney says the taproom will serve up special releases throughout the year, available in the Tasting Room and no place else. First up is Exponential Hoppiness Double IPA, set for release in March. It will be followed by Bad Boy Double IPA in early Spring and a Bourbon Barrel Aged version of Alpine’s Imperial Porter in the fall. When the holiday season rolls around, Alpine is planning to release a wine barrel aged fruited sour. Again, these four special beers will be available only in the Tasting Room and only for a limited time.
Alpine Beer Company has been around since 1999 and no matter how well- received its classic lineup may be, the wheels of innovation continue to turn with the release of new beers throughout the 2017 year. Look for these new products in stores, taverns, or the Alpine Tasting Room and celebrate the craft with Alpine Beer Company, one of California’s best.
