Arizona is a rising star in the craft beer world and the Grand Canyon State is quickly gaining recognition as a place for fine brew and fun. One of the state’s ongoing festivals is about to get even bigger, with expansion to a new location better suited for the large and growing crowds. The event is the AmeriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival, coming to Phoenix on May 13, 2017.
Now in its 7th year and produced by HDE Agency and SanTan Brewing, the AmeriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival is back for another run. The overflow crowds and other needs have led the organizers to seek out new space for the event and it will now take place at Margaret T. Hance Park. The larger space will provide more elbow room, more space for beer, and more room for additional activities.
AmeriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival will feature approximately 250 canned beers from the American Southwest and across the nation. Besides an excellent opportunity to sample new beer, the festival is also a competition, as beers will vie for awards in multiple categories: IPA, American Pale Ale, English Pale Ale, Wheat Beers, Stouts and Porters, Ambers and Browns, Golds, Blondes, Pilsners and Light Lagers, Fruit, and Specialty Beer. Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded with the winners announced via live stream on May 6th at www.cannedcraftbeerfest.com.
Admission to AmeriCAN Canned Craft Beer Festival sells for $35 General Admission or $100 VIP, with Designated Driver tickets selling for $20. General Admission can be purchased on the day of the event, but will sell for $45. Designated Driver tickets can also be purchased on the day of the event and will still sell for $20. VIP tickets are available only online and only while supplies last. General Admission entry comes complete with a 4 oz. tasting can plus 20 beer samples and 1 p.m, entry. VIP ticket holders will enjoy the same can and number of beer samples plus 12 p.m. entry, exclusive access to VIP beer garden, private restrooms, catered food, and a meet and greet opportunity with brewers with access to specialty beers not available to other festival goers.
