If you are travelling to New York City then you probably already know that there is an abundance of things to do throughout the day. There are timeless attractions such as the Empire State building, the Statue of Liberty and even Central Park. KGB Bar
The KGB bar is a place you really want to go if you want to have a good time. It’s a great place to have a beer and they also have nightly readings too. Some of the speakers that go there are literary stars and you can even meet other people who have the same interests as you. If you have never been to this bar before then you certainly need to give it a shot because there really are endless things for you to enjoy.
Citizen’s Brigade Theatre
This theatre is one of New York City’s best and it features some of the finest comedians around. A lot of them choose to do improvisation and they also have a lot of new talent as well. Some of the famous comedians who have performed there include Amy Poehler, Matt Besser and even Matt Walsh. It is recommended that you make a reservation here because it can be quite hard to get in if you don’t. You also need to book more in advance than you’d think because this location is really popular.
Union Hall
This bar is based in Brooklyn and it is also known as “The Slope”. It’s a playground for adults and they have a ton of stand-up comedy shows, literary readings and in some instances, musical performances. The ground floor has plenty of seating and you also have a beer and wine cocktail list. If you want a relaxing night where you can just sit back and soak up the atmosphere of New York City, then this is certainly the location for you.
Broadway
You really can’t go to New York City and not see anything on Broadway. It is the best way for you to spend your night and you would be surprised at how easy it is for you to have a good time without going over budget. The best thing about Broadway is that it gives you the chance to dress up and impress, not to mention that you can also sit back and enjoy some of the finest entertainment in the world. If you want to buy tickets for Broadway then you might want to do this in advance, so that you can get the seats you want. Some tickets do sell out rather fast as well, depending on the show you are going to see, so do keep that in mind.
New York City is an excellent destination for classic attractions, but as you can see, there is much to do at night visiting the various bars, theatres, and other evening attractions and newcomers are often shocked by the larges variety of activities that continue late into the night time hours.
