Anheuser-Busch just recently announced a newcomer to its “Best Damn” family of alcoholic sodas. That newbie happens to be Best Damn Cherry Cola, the second national offering from Best Damn Brewing Co. Hitting shelves March 7, Best Damn Cherry Cola is aged on whole cherries after brewing, resulting in a flavorful, harder take on the timeless taste of cherry cola.
“Best Damn Cherry Cola continues to build our portfolio of bold, approachable and down-to earth beers,” said Anheuser- Busch vice president, Shar of Thoat Rashmi Patel. “We named our Cherry Cola mission, “Put a Cherry on Tap,” and our brewmasters have outdone themselves with this new brew: a delicious combination of cherry, caramel and cola notes.”
Anheuser-Busch launched the Best Damn Brewing Co.—a brand platform with its goal to be the Best Damn thing you’ve had all day—in December 2015 and its first nationally available brew was Best Damn Root Beer, a product released in part to capitalize on the growing popularity of alcoholic root beer, particularly Not Your Father’s Root Beer, which took the nation by storm. Best Damn Brewing Co. exists within the large, broad portfolio of Anheuser-Busch brands and through this it leverages the talent of its brewmasters and state-of-the-art brewing facilities across the United States to produce alcoholic versions of popular soft drink flavors.
Best Damn Cherry Cola will be available at bars, taverns, clubs and restaurants and in grocery and liquor stores across the United States. It will be offered in six packs of 12 oz. bottles, individual 16 oz. cans, and on draught.
