The countdown to the New Year is on and those who prefer to celebrate spontaneously can do so with ease at Yard House on New Year’s Eve. Those dressed up or dressed down or with no specific plans at all can celebrate at their local Yard House where seating is offered on a first come, first-served basis. Each location will open at 11am and stay open until well past midnight to mark the arrival of a New Year with a Beer Toast at the start of 2016.
“We’re a restaurant who has built a reputation on offering the best American craft beers and imports available,” said Craig Carlyle, president of Yard House. “So it seems only apropos to celebrate with our guests by offering a midnight beer toast to usher in the New Year.”
Guests can order from Yard House’s award-winning menu, which features an array of appetizers, grilled burgers, gourmet salads, street tacos, prime steaks and seafood. Yard House is also offering a special holiday menu and seasonal cocktails as well as its Anniversary Rogue Spruce Tip IPA, which is available through January or while supplies last.
Guests are welcome to savor a full meal or simply stop in for an appetizer, dessert, beer, cocktail or a glass of wine. And, of course, each guest 21 and older can participate in the midnight beer toast to celebrate the arrival of 2016.
For those who want to celebrate at home, Yard House offers take-out party platters of its most popular appetizers, entrees and desserts. The platters serve 6-8 guests and only a three-hour notice is required.
Yard House will open at 11am on New Year’s Eve, December 31, and will feature a midnight Beer Toast. Yard House is open daily, including New Year’s Day, for lunch, dinner and late-night dining and offers one of the largest selections of beers. About Yard House
When Yard House opened in 1996 in Long Beach, California, it revolutionized the restaurant industry by creating a 250-tap draft beer system.
Nearly 20 years and 63 restaurants later, Yard House still leads the way with great food, classic rock and a vast selection of draft beer while evolving into an award-winning dining destination known for its menu of American favorites, crafted cocktails and endless fleet of tap handles featuring the best American craft beers and imports. The exhibition kitchen creates more than 100 items made from scratch daily with quality ingredients and globally-inspired flavors. The menu reads like a road trip across America and guests can select from an array of items, including grilled burgers, gourmet salads, street tacos, steaks, seafood and house favorites.
Each Yard House has its own distinct beer list with a handful of taps reserved for local and regional brewers along with an offering of seasonal and small-batch selections as part of the rotating “Chalkboard Series.” The glass-enclosed keg room showcases hundreds of steel barrels containing as much as 4,000 gallons of beer that flow to the center island bar through an extensive network of tubing positioned overhead. From there the beer is fed to the taps where it’s served ice-cold by the pint, 9-ounce shorty, goblet or half-yard glass container. Yard House is also well-known for its classic rock boasting a library of 5,000 songs with each location having its own distinct playlist.
Each Yard House features a modern and lofty design with a mix of warm woods and steel accents. Walls are graced with original and bold artwork commissioned from California artist Jerome Gastaldi – providing a striking contrast compared to the more whimsical tap handle art displayed at the island bar. A collection of flat screen televisions positioned overhead allows guests to catch the latest sporting or newsworthy events from nearly any seat in the house.
Yard House is open daily for lunch, dinner and late-night dining.
