Winter is usually the off- season when it comes to outdoor beer festivals. Most of us don’t like the idea of sipping on a cold brew while the snow is falling and the chilly winds whip around our face. But not all areas of the United States are cold during the winter season, and one area that remains relatively mild is the Gulf Coast. And it just happens to be the setting for the Louisiana Winter Beer Festival, now in its fourth year.

Extend Your Vacation
Louisiana is best known for the Mardi Gras celebration each year in New Orleans. Lake Charles is only a three hour drive west of New Orleans and would make a great post- Mardi Gras excursion. Great Beer Now is going to be in attendance at the Louisiana Winter Beer Festival and would love to meet you and yours for an afternoon of beer, food, and southern- style hospitality.
Beer festivals are most commonplace from April through October each year when the weather is more cooperative, but the American Gulf Coast experiences mild weather practically year round. The moderately warm temperatures in late February are just right for an outdoor beer festival and make for the perfect way to kickoff the 2018 beer fest year.
