Coronado Brewing, one of California’s greatest craft brewing operations, is ready to release the third installment in its popular Art Series of beer. This newest member of the KFiSH Art Series is Island Vibes, a Berliner Weisse brew with sourness and fruitiness for light drinking refreshment.
Island Vibes is brewed as a kettle sour beer and is only slightly tart with a dry finish. This beer features the taste of passionfruit, for a tropical flavor profile indicative of a refreshing stroll on an island beach. The beer has a highly sessionable 4.5 percent alcohol by volume, making it perfect for those times when you want to throwback an extra can and not readily notice the effects.
Coronado head brewer Mark Theisen says this new Art Series beer is exactly what craft beer lovers crave as they try to cope with the warmer days of summer.
“Island Vibes is another R&D beer making a return on a bigger scale by popular demand”, said Theisen. “Everything about this beer screams summer refreshment and we think it’ll become a go- to beer for many as the summer heat rages on.
Craft beer fans can be among the first to try Island Vibes by visiting one of Coronado Brewing’s three locations on Friday, August 3. The beer will be available on draft and in six-pack cans. In a few weeks, Island Vibes will be available for purchase throughout Coronado Brewing’s distribution network.
Island Vibes follows Coco Chaos and Marine Dream in the Art Series and it is easily the lightest and most refreshing beer among the three. Look for it in stores that sell Coronado beer starting in late August and if you live near one of the three Coronado Brewing locations, make your way to them and sample this new Art Series beer for yourself.
