Los Angeles based Fireman’s Brew, a craft beer company founded by two California firefighters, recently announced a partnership with General Distributing, to distribute its award-winning beers throughout Utah, and a deal with Viking Beverages to bring its beer to Minnesota. Fireman’s Brew handcrafted beers will be available at Beehive State and North Star State beer lovers’ favorite on-premise and limited off-premise locations.
The addition of Utah brings another western state into the Fireman’s Brew fold and Fireman’s Brew founder Rob Nowaczyk likes the progress he sees.
“Our goal has always been to establish Fireman’s Brew as a national, household brand and we’ve been rapidly growing and expanding from coast-to-coast over the last few years,” explained Nowaczyk. “With the addition of Utah, we’re just one step closer to achieving our goal.”
General Distributing, the exclusive distributor of Anheuser-Busch (AB) products in Salt Lake County and parts of Davis County, will coordinate state-wide distribution for Fireman’s Brew with the help of the other AB distributors in the state.
“Fireman’s Brew is a compelling and authentic brand with their firefighter roots. They also offer phenomenal, award-winning craft beers,” said Andy Zweber, President General Distributing. “We’re thrilled to introduce Fireman’s Brew to Utah and look forward to helping them establish their popularity in this market.”
Fireman’s Brew CEO Roger Baer is confident the partnership with General Distributing will prove beneficial to all parties involved.
“General Distributing has a solid understanding of the craft beer marketplace in Utah and we’re confident that they will help Fireman’s Brew grow a loyal fan base in the state,” stated Baer. “Utahan’s are going to love our collection of micro-brewed blonde, brunette and redhead beers created using only the finest all-natural ingredients.”
In Utah, Fireman’s Brew signature beers will be distributed in 12-ounce bottle six-packs:
- Fireman’s Brew: Blonde (Pilsner-style Lager; 5 percent ABV)
- Fireman’s Brew: Brunette (German-style Doublebock; 8 percent ABV)
- Fireman’s Brew: Redhead (Amber Ale; 5.5 percent ABV)
Moving to the Midwest, Fireman’s Brew will partner with Viking Beverages, a Molson Coors distributor, to distribute its award-winning beers throughout Minnesota.
“Minnesotans love their craft beer and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce them to our handcrafted ales and lagers,” explained Rob Nowaczyk, founder of Fireman’s Brew. “Our collection of micro-brewed Blonde, Brunette and Redhead beers are created using only the finest all-natural ingredients. Each brew is sure to satisfy beers lovers across The North Star State.”
As the Master Redistributor, Viking Beverages, who also distributes Coors, Molson and Goose Island, will distribute Fireman’s Brew to 65 counties in Minnesota to help the brand secure statewide coverage within the Coors network.
“With their longstanding firefighter roots, Fireman’s Brew offers a compelling and authentic brand story paired with exceptional tasting craft beers,” said Michael Faber, CEO of Viking Beverages. “We’re excited to introduce their brand to Minnesota and help them solidify their footprint in this market.”
Fireman’s Brew CEO Roger Baer sees great potential with the Viking deal.
“With their unparalleled expertise in the beverage industry, Viking Beverages is a true value partner for us as we enter Minnesota,” stated Baer. “They are the right group to establish our brand and build customer loyalty in this important market.”
In Minnesota, Fireman’s Brew signature beers will be distributed in 12-ounce bottle six-packs, twelve-pack samplers and kegs and will include the same three core beers offered in Utah.
Rapidly expanding from coast-to-coast since 2012, Fireman’s Brew is currently available in: California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Illinois, Ohio, Kansas, Virginia, New York, Michigan, Hawaii, West Virginia, and Louisiana. The addition of Utah and Minnesota brings the total distribution footprint to 17 with more states likely to be added very soon.
Can’t find fireman’s brew. Would like to try it.
I’m not sure where it is sold now. I recommend checking the brewery web site, http://www.firemansbrew.com to see where it is presently available.
