Los Angeles- based Fireman’s Brew, a craft brewery founded by two California firefighters with a love for great beer, just announced a new partnership that will bring Fireman’s Brew into the homes of Texas residents. The deal was made with two Texas distributors, Favorite Brands and L&F Distributors, to deliver Fireman’s Brew to taverns, restaurants, and retail stores such as Cost Plus World Market, HEB, Randalls, Total Wine & More, and Whole Foods Market. Fireman’s Brew co- founder Rob Nowaczyk says the move to the Lone Star State is a win- win for everyone.
“With their tremendous craft beer following, Texas has always been an important market for Fireman’s Brew and we’re excited to introduce Texans to our award-winning blonde, brunette and redhead ales,” explained Nowaczyk.
Favorite Brands and L&F Distributors will combine efforts to coordinate state-wide distribution for Fireman’s Brew. The beer will be delivered to Texas’ major craft beer markets including Austin, Dallas, Houston, McAllen, Corpus Christi, and El Paso. Favorite Brands General Manager Greg LaMantia Jr. is convinced that fellow Texans will be highly receptive to this new craft beer brand.
“With their firefighter roots, Fireman’s Brew is a compelling and authentic brand that is sure to resonate with Texans. Their hand-crafted ales and lagers made with only the finest natural ingredients are sure to go over well in this beer loving market,” said LaMantia. “We’re honored to introduce Fireman’s Brew to Texas and look forward to helping them establish their popularity in the state.”
Fireman’s Brew CEO Roger Baer expressed similar sentiments.
“We’re thrilled to team up with two leading Texas distributors – Favorite Brands and L&F Distributors – to launch Fireman’s Brew in Texas – a very important market for us,” said Baer. “We can’t wait for Texans across the state to get their first taste of our premium micro-brewed beers.”
Fireman’s Brew plans to kickoff distribution with its three signature beers, which will be available in six- packs of 12-ounce bottles, twelve-pack samplers, and in kegs. The starting lineup includes:
- Fireman’s Brew Blonde, a Pilsner-style Lager containing 5.2 percent ABV
- Fireman’s Brew Brunette, a German-style Dopplebock containing 8 percent ABV
- Fireman’s Brew Redhead, an Amber Ale containing 5.5 percent ABV
Texas beer lovers are bound to love the full, natural taste of Fireman’s Brew but the company’s roots and mission are equally inspiring. Fireman’s Brew was initially conceived by two Los Angeles-based firefighters shortly after they worked to extinguish a brushfire in the local mountains. The two men wanted to create a line of premium beers that would taste great after a day of exhilarating, exhausting work. Their vision led to the creation of Fireman’s Brew, a company dedicated to brewing beers made with only the finest all-natural ingredients to deliver bold, full-flavored beer that sticks with traditional tastes. Fireman’s Brew Blonde, Brunette, and Redhead easily live up to these expectations. Also, along with the great beer, Fireman’s Brew is committed to giving back to the community through its support of the Fallen Firefighters Foundation, a non- profit organization that works to honor fallen firefighters and support their families.
Fireman’s Brew was founded only a few years ago, but the company has enjoyed great success and is now distributed in 17 states: California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Oklahoma, Illinois, Ohio, Kansas, Virginia, Michigan, Hawaii, West Virginia, Louisiana, Minnesota, Utah, Missouri and now Texas.
