Full Sail Brewing, the Hood River, Oregon brewery with almost three decades in the business of craft beer, just announced the release of a whole bunch of session beer. It’s called Session Mashup, a 12- pack of assorted Full Sail Session Brews.
The Session Mashup will feature different Full Sail Session beers based on the season, so beer drinkers can check back approximately every three months and find something new. Jamie Emmerson, Full Sail Brewing’s Executive Brewmaster, says the idea is to bring the Full Sail Pub experience into the homes of beer lovers all over America.
“Imagine you’re at our pub in Hood River on the outdoor deck overlooking the mighty Columbia,” says Emmerson. “We thought it’d be great to share a mix of stubbies, just like ordering an iced bucket of Sessions. The Mashup is a bit of our pub in every box.”
For the first Session Mashup, available in stores right now, consumers will find crisp clean Session Lager, citrusy golden Session Wheat, easy drinking Session IPA and smooth and sweet Session Cream.
Full Sail’s Session beer lineup has proven itself popular with consumers for many good reasons. Most important among them is the simple fact that these beers, while certainly palatable to a large portion of the population and hence quite sessionable in nature, are not weakened to the point that they lose their character. Looking at the statistics on Full Sail’s session beers, one will find that all of them weigh in between 5 percent and 6 percent alcohol by volume. This is enough to keep the flavor at a level acceptable to the often demanding and fickle craft beer crowd.
Full Sail Brewmaster Jim Kelter encourages everyone to appreciate the agreeable nature of these session beers and incorporate them into your next spring gathering.
“The Mashup is a variety of Sessions for your next Session,” says Kelter. “An array of flavors to accompany whatever spring has to offer, all from the classic Session stubby. Enjoy!”
