Full Sail Releases Session Cream Summer Ale

Full Sail Brewing, one of the oldest craft breweries in Oregon, has released the next in its Session Series lineup: Session Cream Summer Ale. Released to coincide with American Craft Beer Week May 11-17, this golden ale features a creamy body and a smooth, sweet flavor profile, making it perfect for a day in the sun.

Looking at its characteristics, this latest Full Sail Session Series beer pours to a golden color with a nose that features citrus and herbal hops. Its flavor is malt- forward with a sweet flavor that finishes clean with hints of citrus fruit and caramel. Full Sail Brewing will make this beer available throughout the summer, both in 12-packs and on nitro-draft. The beer has an alcohol by volume of 5.4% and a bitterness rating of 26 IBU.

Full Sail CEO and founder Irene Firmat is pleased with the public embrace of session beers and is excited to expand the Full Sail session series.

Full Sail Brewing first launched its Session beers in 2005 and they have earned a good number of awards and trophies including 35 gold medals. Just a short time ago, Full Sail’s Session lagers competed in and dominated the 2014 World Beer Championships with each Full Sail beer scoring highly with the judges. Among the awards were a gold medal for both Session Premium Lager and Session Export. Session Fest, Session Black and Session IPA each took home a silver medal, proving that a session beer can be just as worthy of recognition as its more eccentric malt beverage brethren.
