Homebrew Con has been around for exactly four decades, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The event features workshops, homebrewing demonstrations, interactive sessions, and other fun and fact- filled events designed to take your homebrewing art to new levels. It’s the largest and best- known event of its type and it attracts amateur homebrewers from across the nation and beyond.
Quality homemade beer, cider, and mead take effort to make and Homebrew Con is ready to reward the best of the best at the National Homebrew Competition, the world’s largest beer competition. Imagine having your very own homebrewed beer, cider, or mead proclaimed the best in the land? It’s the ultimate recognition for hard work and anyone who is not currently a professional brewer is welcome to enter their homemade suds and compete for Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals in 28 different categories.
Homebrew Con will host an estimated 3,000 attendees and feature more than 90 presenters. Charlie Papazian, the man who founded the American Homebrewers Association, will be one of the keynote speakers and he will be joined by an assortment of beer industry professionals, veteran homebrewers, and many others ready to share what they know about the homebrewing craft.
Brewing beer, mead, and cider takes time and patience. No matter how skilled one may be, there is always room to learn and perfect one’s craft ever further and Homebrew Con is the perfect place to learn more about homebrewing, get advice from experts, and possibly win an award in the process.
