Green Flash Brewing, the San Diego- based craft brewery known for its distinguished portfolio of hop- forward beers, has announced the return of the Green Flash and Alpine brands to Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The relaunch marks the first time the brands have been sold in this area following a two year lapse.
Partnering with Green Flash is Atlantic Beverage Distributors. They will be responsible for bringing the beers of the Green Flash family to restaurants, stores, and taverns in the two- state area. The first beers to get relaunched are Green Flash West Cost IPA, Hazy IPA, and Tropical DNA. The Alpine lineup will include Duet, Nelson, and HFS brands. Depending on the success of these beers, more varieties may eventually get added to the distribution list.
Green Flash Vice President of Sales Bracken Todd is happy to see his brewery’s beers back in these New England states and he knows craft beer fans feel the same.
“We are excited to once again share our craft beers with consumers in these dynamic beer markets,” said Todd. “This is our first return to the East Coast since the brand’s departure almost two years ago and signals a renewed focus on deliberate growth within the company.”
Green Flash was forced to close its Virginia Beach brewery a couple years ago, due to a multitude of reasons. The past two years have been difficult, but progress is being made and it’s great to see Green Flash making a slow and steady comeback.
