Green Flash Brewing Company is gearing up for summer with two new beers. One of the newbies, Saturhaze IPA, was released just recently and the other, Beter, is scheduled for release in summer. Both new beers take aim at the growing market for low alcohol by volume brew and each contains exactly 4.2 percent abv, making them perfect for the summer season.
Saturhaze IPA is, like you probably guessed, a hazy IPA and it features the tropical citrus flavors that have made this style so endearing to so many. The festive packaging of Saturhaze IPA features Haze the beer dog, a canine that believes Saturhaze means a day spent poolside with a grill, friends, and beer. This low alcohol brew is already in stores and on tap where Green Flash beer is presently sold, so craft fans can look for it immediately.

Low alcohol hazy IPA are commonplace nowadays and many breweries have released them, but Green Flash Beter is a different story. This is the brewery’s first USDA certified organic wheat beer and with its infusion of acai berries and black tea, it is certainly befitting of a summer beverage. For the packaging, Green Flash decided to go with a clean, white can with few distractions. Beter is scheduled for release in May, 2020.
Green Flash Brewmaster Erik Jensen says these new beers meet the demands of consumers and remain true to the California lifestyle.
“We mentioned last year that innovation will be a cornerstone for Green Flash, and we believe Saturhaze and Beter hit the low-ABV craft beer trends that consumers are actively seeking, and offer the opportunity to bring new drinkers into craft beer,” said Jensen. “Most importantly, however, we feel that these brands authentically fit the Southern Californian coastal lifestyle that is true to Green Flash.”
Saturhaze IPA and Beter both conjure up images of fun in the sun, but they are not seasonal beers. They will both be offered year-round in 6-pack 12oz cans and draft. To learn more about these and other Green Flash beers, visit online at www.greenflashbrew.com
