Collaborations between breweries and other businesses come and go. But others seem to have staying power and return to delight us year after year. One such collab that comes to mind is about to return for its fifth go- round. It’s Harpoon and Dunkin’, ready to tickle your taste buds with three new partnership beers and a familiar one from the past.
What’s New in 2022
Harpoon Brewery and Dunkin’ are, once again, going to release their collaboration beers in a 12- pack sampler mix. Back for another run is the ever- popular Harpoon Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spiced Latte Ale. This beer is quite different from other pumpkin seasonals and many have described it as pumpkin puree in a glass. The recipe has been tweaked slightly this year. Among the small alterations, it is now brewed using oat milk for a creamy, more authentic latte mouthfeel.
With the other three beers in the pack, Harpoon and Dunkin’ have put their creative heads together and released three new collaborations:
- Coffee Roll Cream Ale
- Cold Brew Coffee Porter
- Hazelnut Blond Stout
Brian Gilbert, Vice President of Retail Business Development at Dunkin’, says fans will love the revamped Pumpkin ale and will find each of the other three offerings uniquely flavorful in their own way.
“Pumpkin Spice Lattes raises excitement from consumers every fall, so we were excited to work with Harpoon to bring the favorite beer back for another year,” said Gilbert. “Introducing the coffee roll and other classic coffee flavors to the latest beers brought our partnership to a level of flavor it’s never been before, and we know brand fans will love it.”
Bottles and Cans
With the Harpoon Dunkin’ Pumpkin, craft beer buyers will be able to purchase it in its own six packs of bottles. The other three beers will be sold only in the 12- pack Box ‘O Beer sampler. With the sample pack, you will get three cans each of these four seasonal products. All four beers are made with Dunkin’ Coffee as an ingredient, perfect for those who enjoy both coffee and beer. It’s ideal for those who appreciate when both are combined in a well- balanced and compatible way.
Get Your Collaboration Beer
If you happen to live in the Boston, Massachusetts area, you can visit the Harpoon Brewery taproom on September 18, 2022 for a Harpoon & Dunkin’ release party. Not only will you be able to try the beer, but there will even be a collaborative snack available: The Dunkin’ Harpoon IPA Donut. It’s a donut filled with a special jelly made with Harpoon IPA and topped with a candied malt crumble. It sounds like the perfect food to match with one of the collaborative beers.
Box O’ Beer will be available immediately wherever Harpoon beers are presently sold. To track down a Box O’ Beer near you, visit online using the Harpoon Beer Finder.

Just reading those beer names is making me thirsty! I definitely want to try all of them. Yummo!
I would have expected Dunkin to be in Scotland, but I have not seen any yet. However, it sounds like a great place.
It’s good to have both bottles and cans. Variety can help people choose which they like.
Oh wow, what a great collaboration. The pumpkin spiced latte ale sounds interesting. I bet that is very popular. I would consider getting that in for my next Halloween party. I’m sure it would go down very well.
