Independence Brewing Welcomes Beer Lovers to the Dark Side with New Fall Seasonal, Reaper Madness
Black IPA will be available in cans and on draft from mid-September through late January
Austin’s Independence Brewing announces the release of new fall seasonal, Reaper Madness, a Black IPA. Available in 6-packs of cans, the beer hits shelves of select retailers including Specs, Central Market, Whole Foods, and HEB stores in Austin, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio on September 14. It will also be available on draft at various locations throughout Texas from mid-September until late January.
Head Brewer Brannon Radicke previously brewed a Black IPA for Independence’s 9th Anniversary Party in October 2013. The beer was so popular that it was brought back from the “beer afterlife” and reincarnated into Reaper Madness. Dark and hoppy, the mild biscuit and roasty malt flavors provide a sturdy backbone for bold piney, juicy hop flavors with lingering resin notes.
