Katy Wild West Brew Fest was originally held at Villagio Town Center, but the event has grown quickly and needed a larger space. The decision to have the beer fest at the Katy Mills Mall was an excellent idea because it means more elbow room, ease of parking, etc. Not only that, but the Katy Mills Mall is very large, easy to locate, and is within walking distance from several hotels.
Beer, Music, and Fun
Above all, people attend beer festivals for the brew and there will be no shortage of delicious suds at the Katy Wild West Brew Fest! The Katy Rotary Club, the organization responsible for planning and running the fest each year, is projecting approximately 125 different breweries at the festival pouring a grand total of more than 500 different beers, ciders, and other malt beverages.
For your musical enjoyment, the Katy Wild West Brew Fest will feature music on multiple stages with tunes supplied by The After Party, Terry Cavanagh, Kaos, Nathan Quick Bank, and Cooper Wade. The place will be rocking well into the evening hours with the wide variety of music supplied by these talented artists.
But There’s More
Beer, music, entertainment…these are reason enough to add the Katy Wild West Brew Fest to your spring time plans. But there is more to this beer festival than drinking and good times. You see, the Katy Wild West Brew Fest is one of the very few events of its kind that is 100 percent volunteer in nature. No one makes any profit from the proceeds- all of the money is donated to local causes. Some of the recipients include Future Farmers of America, Rainbow Room, and other assorted charitable and philanthropic causes. This emphasis on charity and giving back make the Katy Wild West Brew Fest one of a kind and is partly responsible for the festival being named the Top Beer Festival of 2015 and the Most Desired Beer Festival to Visit in 2016 by Beeryeti.com
