North Texas is home to a growing number of craft breweries and anyone who has visited the Dallas/Fort Worth area is well aware of the influence that craft beer has on the local culture and activities. The suburb of Grapevine is no stranger to the influence of craft beer and it even has a spring time festival dedicated to crafted suds. It’s the Grapevine 34th Annual Main Street Fest – A Craft Brew Experience, presented by Bank of the West and scheduled for May 18, 19, and 20, 2018.

Main Street Fest places craft beer front and center. The Craft Brew Experience, hosted by Gaylord Texas Resort, will feature approximately 75 different craft beers served by 36 different breweries from Texas and across the United States. Tickets for the Craft Brew Experience sell for $15 in advance or $18 at the door and include eight tastings. Additional tastings can be purchased separately. If you prefer an all- Texas craft beer salute, then head to the Lone Star State of Mind Pavilion where you will find Texas- brewed beer and Texas- produced wine. Compatible foods will be available as well, for a full- fledged Texas food and drink experience.
Music and Entertainment
No festival is complete without entertainment and Main Street Fest will have more than its fair share of fun and tunes. The Audi Grapevine Main Stage, Town Square Gazebo Stage, and the Palace Theatre Stage will each have separate performances, set to be announced over the weeks leading up to the event. If you feel like making some music of your own, then be sure to take part in the 5th Annual DFW ICON vocal competition. Anyone between the ages of 7 and 30 is invited to grab the microphone and belt out their strongest vocal performance as they compete for prizes.
Music is only the beginning of the fun at Main Street Fest. Guests can enjoy street performers and a return visit by Mango and Dango, a duo that features a physical comedy circus show that is certain to please. Carnival rides and games and the KidZone will keep the youngsters entertained, for a full, family friendly weekend of fun.
