
Experience all that the state has to offer when it comes to locally brewed beers! Head on down to the Maryland Craft Beer Festival, presented by the Brewers Association of Maryland (BAM), on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 1-6 pm at Carroll Creek Park in Downtown Frederick (44 South Market St.,Frederick MD 21701). The event, held rain or shine, will include beer tastings from 30 breweries from across the state pouring over 150 unique local craft beers. In addition, there will be live music, delicious food and an eclectic display of Frederick art. Tickets are only available in advance; general admission is $30.00 for adults, $5.00 for designated drivers and youth (12-21) and kids under 12 are free. The exciting one-day festival will feature several food vendors including: Kooper’s Chowhound, Smoking Swine BBQ, Fat Frankie’s Pizza, JB Seafood, Norton’s Italian Ice, Parfections and Thunder Ridge Kettle Corn. The featured bands playing on the Main Stage include; Big Hoax, The Solicitors, Katie Powderly and the Unconditional Lovers, Greasy Hands and Heavy Lights. The acoustic stage will feature some of the local talent. There will be a BAM Bus providing an all- inclusive roundtrip bus tour; including VIP tickets to the festival with four pick-up and drop-off locations from Jailbreak Brewing Company in Laurel, Heavy Seas Brewery in Halethorpe, Union Craft Brewing in Baltimore and Denizens Brewing Co. Silver Spring (pick-up will be at 11 am and drop-off will be no later than 7 pm).
The 2015 Maryland Craft Beer Festival was created in partnership with the City of Frederick, Downtown Frederick Partnership, The Frederick News Post, and MissionTix.
