Perrin Brewing, one of Michigan’s foremost names in craft beer, has announced the release of the 2019 Barrel- Aged Specialty Pack. The boxed package delivers craft beer fans a one- two punch of craft beer goodness in a package size ideal for sharing.
Included in the 2019 Barrel- Aged Specialty pack are two 22-ounce bomber bottles of craft beer. One of them is Malted Milk Ball 2019 and the other is Perrin Reserve 2019. Because beers like this are intended for sipping and savoring, the boxed package includes a 10 oz. Perrin Reserve glass.
Malted Milk Ball is an Imperial Porter that has a delicious sound to its name. Anyone who likes malted milk balls (i.e.: 99 percent of the people on the planet) is certain to fall in love with this limited-edition beer. It is an imperial porter that, as you might have guessed, is brewed to mimic the flavor of the classic candy. A quick view of this beer’s ingredient list reveals lactose, vanilla, and cocoa nibs. The beer is aged in oak bourbon barrels for nine months and the resulting beer weighs in at 12 percent alcohol by volume.
Perrin Reserve is a Russian Imperial Stout. This complex beer is made with honey and caramelized lactose sugar and is aged on golden raisins. The dark brew contains 12.8 percent alcohol by volume and is truly a celebratory beer, perfect for commemorating a special occasion.
The 2019 Barrel- Aged Specialty Pack is available starting on Halloween at the Perrin Pub. It can also be found at select retailers within Perrin’s Michigan distribution network. A prized duo such as this isn’t going to last long so be sure to snatch a package the moment you get a chance.
