Mississippi’s Lazy Magnolia Brewing Expands its Southern Charm

2- Row Distributing, a division of Del Papa Distributing in Texas City, Texas, just announced a distribution deal that will bring a new beer to parts of Texas. The new brew is Lazy Magnolia, a Mississippi- based brewery that was the first post- prohibition brewery in Mississippi when it opened its doors in 2005.

Lazy Magnolia has made a name for itself in craft beer circles. Its Southern Pecan Nut Brown Ale is highly regarded and its Southern Hops’pitality and other beers have a loyal following. The emphasis on the “South” is evident at Lazy Magnolia and the brewery’s reputation for hospitality and quality will make it a great fit at 2- Row Distributing.

2- Row Distributing will begin distribution of Lazy Magnolia beer starting on September 1, 2016. The beer will be handled by 2- Row’s Texas City and Victoria Texas distribution centers, both located in the greater Houston area. No word on how far and wide the distribution will be, but Texas is a very large state so even if the additional distribution includes only Texas, it will still accomplish a great deal with expansion and name recognition for the brand.
