Dragon’s Milk Bourbon Barrel- Aged Stout is one of the most recognizable beers of its style. Brewed by Michigan’s New Holland Brewing, this bourbon enhanced brew is highly sought and coveted by craft beer fans of all ages and to celebrate the beer and its legacy, New Holland is unveiling a new package design along with a new flavor: Dragon’s Milk Reserve- Banana Coconut.
New Holland President Brett Vanderkamp says the new package design is meant to accentuate all that is wonderful about this classic beer.
“Synonymous with its name, Dragon’s Milk has become its own legend and we’re proud of its heritage as the best liquid in our house,” said VanderKamp. “We are passionate about the stout’s full, warming and rich blend comprising roasted malt characteristics complemented by smooth vanilla and oak flavors. Our new packaging aims to celebrate the complexity of the beer while paying tribute to its bold, rich undertones.”
As beer lovers know, New Holland Dragon’s Milk Stout exemplifies what a barrel- aged beer should be. The rich, robust malt is complemented with flavors of bourbon, vanilla, and oak. The new packaging is designed to make Dragon’s Milk more recognizable than before with a special emphasis on the dragon emblem. The all- black base color of the packaging allows the dragon emblem to stand out fully, in contrast to the old design, which emphasized the New Holland Brewing logo.
To help celebrate the new branding, Dragon’s Milk also has a new flavor- Banana Coconut. The flavors that make the original Dragon’s Milk so memorable, like bourbon and vanilla, and joined by the flavors of fresh bananas, plantains, and coconut to produce a well- crafted beer with a flavor profile unparalleled in the craft beer universe. This new flavor will be available in September and will be sold in 4- packs of 12 ounce bottles, 24 packs of 12 ounce bottles, and on draft. It will be sold until it sells out and, based on the popularity of the Dragon’s Milk name and the unmistakable quality of beer brewed by New Holland Brewing, it likely won’t last for long.
With the new branding, New Holland has created a dedicated web site and Instagram page for the Dragon’s Milk brand.
