Perrin Brewing, a Michigan- based brewery that happens to be part of the CANarchy collective headed by Oskar Blues Brewing, is updating its packaging with a fresh new look that can now be found across the Wolverine State.
Perrin has been around for a relatively short time. The brewery opened in Comstock Park, Michigan in 2012 and grew rapidly for the next few years, finally gaining the attention of CANarchy in 2015. A partnership formed shortly afterward. The brand has been content with its packaging for several years but Perrin Brewing Director of Digital Marketing Lindsey VanDemBoom says the time was ripe for a re- doing of the design.
“With the brand refresh just around the corner, our team is eager to see the fresh packaging in the market,” said VanDenBoom. “The first Perrin can launch was back in 2015. As we continue to grow and experiment with new styles, we want our package to evolve and reflect our spirit of innovation.”
Perrin Brewing started to distribute its beers for the first time in 2014 and craft beer fans in Michigan are more than familiar with the brand and its look. Perrin Brewing’s beers consistently rank highly among craft beer fans and critics alike who can’t seem to get enough of Perrin’s beer, particularly No Rules Imperial Vietnamese Porter, named among the best Baltic Porters in the world.
Perrin’s new look is a reflection on the brewery’s commitment to brewing tradition and modern technology. The new packaging combines elements of each, with an intricately crafted pattern and bold color- block design. The new cans are making their way into stores and taverns so look for them wherever Perrin Brewing beers are sold.
