It is widely established that a simple checkup or examination is the first step toward early detection and efficient treatment of various diseases. Yet many men fail to schedule a quick doctor’s appointment- one that could prove vital in the prevention of disease.
One beer maker is determined to encourage men to take better care of themselves and it is sponsoring a contest this month to raise health awareness. The company is Mackeson Stout USA and it is sponsoring a social media contest through the end of November to bring notice to men’s health.
How it Works
Movember events are commonplace and many charitable organizations sponsor events each year, encouraging men to grow a moustache in an effort to raise funds for health- related causes. Mackeson Stout USA is getting into the action this year, asking beer fans to snap pictures of themselves with a beer moustache- preferably one formed after drinking a cold glass of Mackeson Stout- and then post on social media. Here are the steps for entry:

- Take a picture of yourself sporting a Mackeson Stout “Mackstache.”
- Share your photo on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtags #Mackstache and #Movember.
