Rogue Ales is one of Oregon’s premiere craft breweries and like most American brewers, Rogue feels a special connection and respect for Mother Earth. To show its high regard for nature and all of its bounty, Rogue is releasing four special cans of Pendleton Pale Ale, with each can dedicated to a specific National Park.
The beer name Pendleton Pale Ale is the result of Rogue’s collaboration effort with another steward of the planet, Pendleton Mills. This fabric mill has been weaving clothing and other goods in the American Northwest for more than 150 years and is one of the few remaining mills of its kind in this region. The Rogue beer that bears the mills name is a labor of love between the two businesses, and so are these special edition cans, honoring Crater Lake National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Mount Rainer National Park, and Yosemite National Park.
Rogue Ales President Brett Joyce says the special cans are one small way that his company can pay homage to these amazing natural landscapes.
“The National Parks revolutionized the outdoors,” said Joyce. “Rogue and our friends at Pendleton Woolen Mills collided to create Pendleton Pale Ale in a package that begs to be taken into the wild and shared with friends.”
Pendleton President Mort Bishop concurs, adding that these special edition cans are nice, simple ways to recognize these incredible places of natural beauty.
“Pendleton joins Rogue Ales in a celebration of our National Parks. Pendleton Pale Ale in four stunning stripe graphics take their cue from Pendleton’s National Park Stripe blankets. Rogue’s tribute to the national parks adds a special splash to sharing good times while remembering our American treasures,” said Bishop.
Pendleton Pale Ale National park commemorative 12 oz. cans are available in six packs, but only in select retail locations in Oregon, Washington, California, Nevada, and Arizona. They can also be found at specific Pendleton stores and at Rogue Pubs. They are a great way to celebrate the amazing natural awe of America’s National Parks but they will not be around for long so get your hands on a sixer while supplies last.
