In an effort to pay tribute to the men and women who serve in America’s armed forces, Oregon’s Rogue Brewery is introducing a new can with a special design.

Rogue’s new aluminum sleeve will package Rogue American Amber Ale and what makes the can unique is its depiction of a grenade. The eye- catching artwork will be used only for Rogue American Amber Ale, available in four- packs of 16 oz. cans.
Rogue prides itself in its longstanding support for America’s armed forces. It selected American Amber Ale for these special cans because this award- winning beer has been the company’s Patriotic Rogue since the early days of the business. Rogue American Amber has won 6 Gold Medals at the World Beer Championships and is considered one of the company’s flagship brews.
Rogue American Amber is about as American as they come. Rogue brewmaster John Maier brews this beer using barley and hops grown at Rogue Farms, located in Independence and Tygh Valley, Oregon. The ingredients, the labor, and the finished product are all made in America, making Rogue American Amber Ale the ideal choice for a patriotic brew.
The new grenade cans will debut along with Rogue Amber Ale 22 oz. serigraphed bottles, 12 oz. six packs, 64 oz. growlers, and draft kegs. Look for the new packaging on store shelves starting June 1st, 2014.
