St. Louis based Schlafly Beer and its Hop Allocation series have been serving memorable, hoppy brew for some time and here in 2018, the series continues with Northeast India Pale Ale. This beer, with its beautiful bouquet of hop aromas and flavors, is the first beer in this year’s series and it is a brand- new beer for this lineup. Schlafly brewer Stephen Hale says this IPA, with its emphasis on northeastern hops as opposed to the usual northwestern hops, is a perfect addition to the series and was borne by consumer demand.
“The Hop Allocation Series gives us a chance to show how different brewing techniques and combinations of hops can offer a distinct IPA experience with each new release,” says Hale. “We utilize kettle boiling and the process of fermented dry-hopping to create this Northeast IPA. We’ve had a lot of requests for this style so we’re excited to see how our consumer responds to the release.”
Schlafly Northeast IPA is available on tap and in six packs at the brewery’s two locations. It will also be sold across Schlafly’s distribution network, but not all locations will have it. The best way to search for availability in your area is to consult Schlafly’s online distribution information through www.schlafly.com/beers/distribution. Distribution will continue as long as supplies last and until the next beer in the series is announced. Scheduled Hop Allocation Series beers include American IPA, Rye IPA, Double IPA and Tasmanian IPA- all of which have been released in the past. Schlafly plans another brand- new release for this series, an India Pale Lager, during the summer.
Schlafly is one of the nation’s premiere craft beer brands and its Hop Allocation Series is loaded with hoppy malt beverage delights. To keep up with this and other happenings at Schlafly, visit online at www.schlafly.com or follow on social media through Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
