Wisconsin is awash in great craft beer and its taverns, retail stores, and restaurants serve up a large variety of award- winning suds. But one craft brewery that has remained out of reach of Wisconsinites is Stone Brewing, the world famous international brewery headquartered in sunny southern California.
That is, until now.
Partnering with Beechwood Sales and Service, Stone Brewing is heading to America’s Dairy Land starting on June 14, 2016. Stone beer will be sold far and wide, in taverns, restaurants, and retailers across the state. Stone beer was sold in Wisconsin before and Stone Vice President of Sale Tood Karnig is happy to see his company’s beers back in a state with a growing and thriving craft beer scene.
“Craft beer in Wisconsin has really started to gain momentum and we’re happy to be coming back to the state”, said Karnig. “We are very excited to add Wisconsin to our distribution footprint and contribute to the state’s growing craft beer scene.
With Wisconsin added to the Stone Brewing fold, the total states selling Stone beer now climbs to 43. This is in addition to Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and 31 total countries. Once the Richmond, Virginia Stone Brewing location is up and running, Stone plans to stretch its reach to all 50 U.S. states by the end of 2017.
Beechwood Sales & Service Craft Manager Dave Cartwright is glad to know that Stone beer will be back on the shelves and back in the kegs.
“There is a lot of excitement about Stone Brewing returning to Wisconsin among both fans and retailers”, said Cartwright. “People are looking forward to enjoying Stone beers again. I think fans will be especially happy to have an opportunity to try all the new beers Stone has created since they were last available in our state.”
Stone beer will make its way across Wisconsin beginning on Flag Day, June 14. For more information on special launch parties and other related events, visit stonebrewing.com/Wisconsin.
