Tallgrass Brewing Co. in Manhattan, Kansas, announces that it will unleash Zombie Monkie, its top-selling seasonal, into markets across its distribution a month early this year due to popular demand.
Crafted with loads of roasted dark chocolate and specialty malts — as well as enough hops to add floral and citrus characteristics to the finish — this robust porter sports 35 IBUs and an ABV of 6.2%. Plus, it’s packaged in a textured can, a “tactical grip” that allows beer drinkers to hold onto the can while fleeing from the undead.
Zombie Monkie, which boasts a 97 overall rating on RateBeer, will begin hitting shelves the week of August 3 and will be available through October.
