Nothing rejuvenates like a spa treatment and a Madison, Wisconsin based resort is expanding its treatments to include a taste of local craft beer, making an already amazing experience that much better.
The Edgewater, an urban resort, has introduced three new spa treatments, all of which emphasize special ingredients to revitalize the skin and mental health, followed by a local beer to cap off the indulgence. Available throughout June, July and August, these Brew-Inspired Summer Spa Treatments feature blends of key ingredients like berries, hibiscus, tangerines, honey and oats with each treatment ending with Wisconsin beer in hand. Spa director Kelleye Heydon says the decision to add local beer to the spa treatments was an obvious one, as beer is not only loaded with essential ingredients that are perfect for spa treatments, it is also an important part of the local culture.
“Many of the vitamin-infused ingredients found in quality craft beers lend themselves to nourishing spa treatments, too,” says Heydon, who recently joined The Edgewater from Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. “It seems natural to blend the two and we had fun putting together treatments that paid tribute to local favorites.”
Here are the three available Brew Inspired Summer Spa Treatments:
