California’s Three Weavers Brewing Company just announced the return of one of its seasonal beers, but with a slight change that is certain to enthrall fans of the previous seasonal while winning over new fans in the process. The seasonal of the past, Return of Sassy, is the beer and the revamped offering is known as Even Sassier, now available in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans.
Yes, Return of Sassy, a Rye IPA, has been reborn as Even Sassier, a hazy version of the original. This new and different beer is similar to the original in some ways, but with a few key changes such as additional hopping and different yeast. Even Sassier still contains rye, beautifully balanced with citrusy notes for a unique taste sensation.
Three Weavers Brewmaster Alexandra Nowell describes the beer as complex, fruity, malty, etc- everything a good beer should be.
“It (rye) expresses itself as this extra added bonus malt flavor that’s hard to put your finger on,” said Nowell. “You can expect aromas and flavors of passionfruit, guava, mango, pineapple and sun-ripened peaches. It’s juicy and tropical with a soft, pillowy finish.”
Even Sassier is available immediately for pickup at the brewery and for local delivery. Interested customers are encouraged to place orders at the Three Weavers website by clicking here.
