Pennsylvania’s Victory Brewing Company continues to evolve, changing its business practices when necessary to keep with consumer demands. The company has been releasing many of its product lineup in both cans and bottles and now, Victory Vital IPA joins the criss- cross trend, available in 12 oz. bottles in both six and twelve packs for the first time, along with a new social media campaign to celebrate the spirit of ‘Vital.’
The way the social media contest works is simple enough. Fans of Victory are asked to take pictures of themselves enjoying the fresh, crisp and complex taste of Vital IPA while partaking in their favorite summer activity. It could be a traditional summertime stroll in the park, a swim in a pool, or something less traditional but still associated with the warm season. Then, just post the picture using the hashtag #VitalToWhereYouAre. Over the next two months, winners will be randomly selected and will receive assorted Victory swag, including t-shirts and Koozies.
Victory Vital IPA is not strictly a summertime beer. The brew is actually available year- round and is a treat for any season. The beer is brewed using American Simcoe, Chinook, and Citra hops along with German malts. The result is something a little different from the typical IPA; a beer that is lighter in body than others of this style with aromas of pine, tropical fruits and stone fruits. The beer finishes with refreshment more indicative of a pilsner and Victory Brewing founder/brewer Bill Covaleski says this unique twist sets the beer apart and makes it ideal as a summer time companion.
“Vital IPA begins as an IPA and finishes as a Pilsner, providing an entirely unique flavor experience. We wanted to make an IPA that was crisp, refreshing and a real cooler beer. Something you reach for on a hike, at a concert or at the beach,” said Covaleski. “Be it on draft, in a can or a bottle, we want this beer to be Vital to Where You Are.”
Vital IPA is available throughout Victory Brewing’s 37 state distribution footprint.
