Beer is a beverage worth celebrating and all across this great land of ours, there are large and small beer festivals, just waiting for you to grace them with your presence as you sample some of the finest suds around. If you love beer festivals and want to partake in one that offers something extraordinary, then you don’t want to miss the Wild West Brew Fest, coming to the west Houston suburb of Katy, TX March 27, 28, and 29, 2025.
What Sets This Festival Apart?
Beer festivals are many, but Wild West Brew Fest is in a class by itself for one very good reason: Its commitment to charitable causes. Yes, lots of festivals donate a portion of proceeds to charity, but Wild West Brew Fest is unique because the festival organizers donate ALL funds to local causes. No one makes any money at this festival, and there is no management fee deducted from the proceeds. Every penny you pay, when you purchase a ticket, is earmarked toward one of several local causes.
What About the Beer?
Charity alone is one reason to attend and support Wild West Brew Fest, the other reason is the beer. At Wild West Brew Fest, guest are treated to hundreds of beers tapped by more than fifty different breweries, cideries, etc. In addition, there is also wine available, served from the Wine Grotto, an indoor space at the festival that is also one of the few attractions that is climate controlled.
Oh, and like any festival, there is plenty of live entertainment. Guests can expect to see multiple bands performing on different stages, the perfect accompaniment to an afternoon of beer and bliss.
Where is Wild West Brew Fest Held?
Wild West Brew Fest is held at Typhoon Texas Water Park, a large and popular place of recreation located adjacent to the Katy Mills Mall and very close to Interstate 10. The water park isn’t open to the public this time of year. It is open exclusively for attendees of the Wild West Brew Fest. That means you don’t need to worry about accidentally bumping into a young child making his/her way from the Lone Star Racers to the Tidal Wave Bay. The park is set aside just for you, the guests at the fest.
Get Your Tickets!
Attendance at the Wild West Brew Fest starts with purchasing tickets. The main event is on Saturday, March 29, from 3pm to 8pm with a 2pm start for VIP. If you prefer to have a full weekend of beer and fun (and who doesn’t?) then I recommend purchasing tickets to the K- Town Throwdown, which is held on Thursday, March 27 and the Wild West Brew Fest Launch Party, which is held on Friday, March 28. There are a large number of hotels located within walking distance, so you can have fun and feel safe and secure
One of a Kind

It’s a beer festival all its own and an event you owe it to yourself, and others, to attend. Get your tickets today and feel how good the combination of beer and charity can truly be.
The Wild West Brew Fest sounds like it was a great event to attend! I love that it was helping to support local initiatives as well; that’s always super important.
I love that they use this event to be a positive force in the community. I think all companies should do this.
Oh my goodness, a brew fest is my kind of festival to attend. And the fact that it supports local causes is great.
This Wild West Brew Fest sounds cool, I know we have something like this every year here in Michigan. I like that they have live entertainment also, and that they donate proceeds to charities!
This sounds like a fun festival. I’ve never been to something like this, and I would enjoy checking this out. I’m sure the weather is nice for this as well in TX.
I love how the Wild West Brew Fest combines great beer with a great cause! It’s awesome to see events that give back to the community while bringing people together.
I’m impressed to see how this event has grown over the years and still stays true to its mission of supporting local causes. 100% volunteer-run and all proceeds go to charity? That’s amazing. It’s not just about beer—it’s about people coming together to make a difference and that’s what sets this festival apart.
