Beer festivals rank as my favorite way to spend a Saturday afternoon and with the popularity of craft beer still on the upswing, the number of festivals continues to increase each year. My favorite beer festival happens to take place right in my own hometown and it has been selected as the Best Beer Festival in the United States by Beeryeti.com for two years running. It’s the Wild West Brewfest, coming once again to Katy, Texas

Why Attend?
The Wild West Brewfest is one of the best festivals in the nation for sampling new and often hard- to- find beers and it’s great for those who have specific beers they would like to try but have not been able to find in local stores, taverns, and restaurants. But beer is only part of the reason to attend the Wild West Brewfest. The other, more important reason is the emphasis on community. This festival is run and operated entirely on a volunteer basis, and that means there are NO management fees deducted, NO commissions, etc. EVERY PENNY collected at the Wild West Brewfest makes its way back to the community, with donations made directly to selected non- profit organizations.
