
Our U.S. military is one of the most awe- inspiring in the world, not just for its sheer size but also for its presence. Anyone who has served in the military knows what I am talking about, but even if you haven’t served, there are many opportunities to observe the awesomeness of the United States military and one of them takes place in Houston on October 22, 23, 2016. It’s the CAF Wings Over Houston AirShow, one of the nation’s best airshows and an event that will feature its own Twitter Party (see below for the exact time) with a chance to win prizes and tickets when the online party takes place on Thursday, October 6, 2016.
Let them Fly!
Let’s first talk about the CAF Wings Over Houston Airshow and what it entails. This airshow is a production of the Commemorative Air Force, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and it is one of the largest civic events in the Houston metropolitan area. This star- studded event was Voted the Number 4 best airshow in the United States by USA Today and as someone how has attended for several years, I can attest that it’s one of the best airshow events I have witnessed. Craft Beer for All
The two- day event will feature special activities for kids plus endless options for food, drink, and merchandise from the dozens of on- site vendors. Guests can expect a good selection of beer and I encourage attendees to visit some of the nearby breweries for a true taste of Houston. Some of the different breweries in the surrounding area that would love to meet you and treat you to some local Houston beer include:
Ticketing Options
The event has several ticket types for purchase so that you and yours can select exactly what you like. Here are some of the choices:
Family Pass – 2 adults and up to 6 children general admission $55
General Admission $21.50
Reserved Prime View Seating $58.00- This is the best option for those who want the most up close and personal view. Reserved Prime View Seating gets you close to the action, with seating that has access to its own restrooms and food & drink plus special reserved parking area close to the entry gate, along with an airshow program.
Eagle Squadron VIP Tickets $150- A notch above the other options, Eagle Squadron features a large tented area with table seating, outside tables, plus additional stadium type seating. Along with that, you get VIP air conditioned restrooms with running water, exclusive VIP Parking, and VIP entrance.

Twitter Party and Chance to Win
Interested attendees are welcome to join a Twitter Party on Thursday, October, 6 starting at 8 p.m. Central Time for a chance to wine one of five different prizes. Interested parties are advised to follow @moneysvgparent and @HoustonAirshow on Twitter and join in the conversation using the hashtag #WOHAirshow. Prizes awarded include two winners randomly selected from the Twitter Party to receive a Family Pass to the Airshow good Saturday or Sunday. In addition to that, two winners will receive Two General Admission Tickets to the Airshow good Saturday or Sunday and one GRAND PRIZE WINNER will receive 2 VIP EAGLE SQUADRON TICKETS good Sunday only.
Twitter Party participants need to be 18 years of age or older. Winners will be randomly selected and announced during the Twitter Party. Your email will be needed in order to fulfill prizes.
